OF THE SPECIFIC NUMBERED CORE LORE
|
Every hour of every day gives you a new opportunity to revive being alive. There is no requirement that you remain encased in the status quo. How you feel and what you accomplish is definitely within your control. The Baratt Core Lore System shows you how to do that. It makes you more effective in every sphere, no matter what your age or gender. It puts new meaning and purpose into your life. One of the basic premises of the system is that you possess a powerful secret weapon that has been hiding in plain sight. That powerful weapon is everything that has ever happened to you, all your experiences, both positive and negative, stored as you originally perceived them. The bad ones still have a stranglehold on you and the good ones are just waiting for an opportunity to help you cope with present situations. The core lores show you how to recover incidents from your past, then either minimize the effects of the negative experiences or enhance the positive ones to help you with present problems. In addition, you learn how to construct and use experiences you would like to see happen in order to reach your goals and objectives faster. It does not matter how old you are. It does not matter whether you are male or female. What does matter is that you already possess the raw materials needed. That, plus the methods and techniques that the core lores give you are all that is necessary to change your life for the better. If you are in your thirties or forties, beginning to feel overwhelmed with the responsibilities that marriage and children have handed you and/or the burdens that your job and finances have anchored you to, the system can give you a new sense of direction and specific tools to revitalize your life. It can make you a better husband and parent. It can make you more effective at your job or profession and put you into a better financial category. If you are in your fifties, starting to think about retirement and wondering what you will do, where you will go, how you will live on your pension and nest egg, there is much you can derive from the core lores. Your investment and cash reserves can be built more rapidly, your focus can become more intense and your plans more crystallized. Your actuality can be more in synch with your expectations. If you are in your sixties or seventies, already retired but beginning to experience the aches and pains you are told go with the territory, the system can show you how to more effectively navigate the pitfalls, how to regain your zest for life, and how to achieve a balance between usefulness and pleasure you never thought possible. The Baratt Core Lore System is one of the best available for managing your mind. It will increase your ability to set and reach goals. It will improve your health. It will give you more energy and more years. It will enable you to handle confrontations more creatively and effectively. It will minimize the adverse effects of stress. Many of the Core Lore concepts are tied to segments of NLP, which stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming, a field of psychology that has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. These segments have been tested and found effective in hundreds of thousands of cases and include such techniques as reframing, mirroring, swish pattern, representational overlap, anchoring, timeline juxtapositioning, and the fast phobia cure. Put the core lores into practice and you will find yourself looking forward to and enjoying each day, living your life in a more productive and exciting fashion. Procrastination will be a thing of the past. You will be able to expedite implementation of a plan and propel yourself into action painlessly. You will learn confrontation responses that are more effective and less stressful than traditional fight or flight. You will discover a method for preventively handling physical and mental problems to avoid adverse health effects. Maintaining "stasis", which means keeping everything in balance, will be easier. |

Do not let yourself fall victim to the number standard. It will skew your perspective to the point of becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. If society says that when you reach a certain sixties number, you will be rewarded for your lifetime effort by being allowed to graze in a cloistered elder pasture, you must take a long hard look at whether that is really what you want just because the numbers say that is what you are expected to do. And if, at a younger age, you are led to believe that you must stay at a job you detest and is ruining your health for so many years more in order to receive a pension when you arrive at the magic number, you must examine alternatives. Tying your life to numbers is not always the best solution. It should not define your attitude, your energy level, your activities, your goals, or your accomplishments. There is no justification for letting chronological age be stamped on the sands of your timeline. You have to operate on the thesis that you are as old as you feel and that how you feel and act from hour to hour, to a large extent, can be determined and controlled, not by others, but by you. Shakespeare was remarkably observant when he wrote: "And so from hour to hour we ripe and ripe. And then from hour to hour we rot and rot. And therein lies a tale." The administrators, of course, dismiss the idea that we grow and mature to a certain point and then reverse course for the duration, but at different speeds. Government's "tale" bypasses biological aging in favor of the more simplified notion that we age by the numbers. Satchel Page, a legendary baseball pitcher, once asked: "How old would you be if you did not know how old you were?" It is easy to answer that question if you are a number counter. For example, society long ago decided how old a person should be in order to make his or her bones for social security benefits. Lately, the number is being revised upward, but it is still, by necessity, tied to chronological age. Every time I hear a parent tell a child to act his or her age, I cringe. Even worse, is an adult admonishing another adult in the same manner. No doubt they mean chronological age. It is just a variant of the credo that one must behave a certain way because one has reached a certain number. Lost in the equation is the joy of spontaneity no matter what your age. Conformity to a number standard stifles the ability to be productive and maximize happiness. And it definitely affects your perspective adversely. Biological age is a truer indication of how you yourself as an individual feel and act. Put a group of people in a room, all of them the same chronological age, and observe the differences. In thinking. In aptitude. In physical appearance. In posture. In vitality. In intelligence. In outlook. How can anyone contend that all of them are the same chronological age so ipso facto they must all be judged in tempo with the averages? If you want to live a full life up to that fateful moment, you must never let yourself be classified by the numbers. You must ignore admonitions to "act your age" no matter where on the timeline you happen to be. In this "die is cast" society of ours, you must continually remind yourself that you are unique and you must constantly work at being centered and balanced in order to maximize your potential and your happiness over a long period of time. |
